First post in 4 years. Well, it's been a few years since I have been on here and it is good to be back! I have acquired many new coins since my last post on here. I suppose I will start with my most recent and work backwards to the last acquisition I posted on here. Let's see if I remember how to do this! Here is my latest acquisition, a 1732 guinea. 26mm diameter. 8.4 grams. 91.40% Gold. Tower Mint (London). Obverse : Head 2 (narrower); "GEORGIVS II DEI GRATIA" Reverse : Crowned shield (squarer); M B F ET H REX F D B ET L D S R I A T ET E*, (date). *"King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, Duke of Brunswick and Lueneburg, Arch-Treasurer and Elector" Edited by EarlyMilledCoins 09/17/2017 8:43 pm

We could really appreciate your coins more if you could crop it to just focus on the coin/ edge. CCF has a free facility to do just that.

oriole, sorry about that. Photos have been adjusted and thanks for the suggestion. The photo optimizer is so much easier to use than what I remember!

You just don't see coins like this every day (unless you work in a museum or something...)
Congrats and welcome back.

What could have caused the S in GEORGIVS to get messed up? Is it some sort of damage?
