Bump111, they only made George VI in 1952, Elizabeth coins started in 1953.

A man after my own heart... This pleasantly reminded me of when I built a similar set in ICCS flips.... best of luck with your upgrades!!

I am still working on getting my set switched over to PCGS, a little harder getting the 'Red' designation there...

If you are including varieties, then you still need the scarcest one of them all...

1948 A to Small Denticles.... very, very hard to find in mint state.

SPP, good luck with the conversions. As you are already aware the copper composition of red 1941-1946 cents seems to be very different than red cents outside those years. I'm not sure the extent to which PCGS recognizes that fact when assigning the Red designation. My 1944 would be 50-50 to cross as red.

As for the 1948, I'm a completionist, but I don't have an unlimited budget. I find at certain points I need to draw a (very arbitrary) line in the sand. With Elizabeth cents, it's anything "hanging", "harp", "guitar", or "P non-magnetic". With George VI, it's the 1948 small denticles. I'm content to turn a blind eye to that particular variety since it lets me have a "complete" set, but if the right one turns up tomorrow...

Good job skelly423..

The 1942 & 1944 in mint state are somewhat hard to find, I have a ms-62 in '42 and my '44 is only AU

But, yours are really nice.
