It's in a basement slab (AU58 or something ridiculous), but it's for my raw set. What grade do you give it? Thanks...!

Reverse brings it up to AU53-55, obvers really will knock it down, too mush chatter scratch going on.

That's a good candidate for the 7070 album.
May have been cleaned and toned back lightly, but the overall appearance doesn't look bad, pictures magnify at least 3 time, so all the scratches are shouldn't be that pronounce.
AU 53.

I think maybe AU50 with the wear on her arm and I think I see the kid has a crack in his butt.

I'm at AU50 too. The obverse shows signs of over-dipping.

AU-53 - and an IMPOSSIBLE coin to resell. Most collectors who can afford a Pan Pac look for minimum grades of MS-64 and above, which is where the big price jump to the next level hits. I'm not saying there isn't a tiny market for higher end CSC, but this one is so obviously cleaned that it would turn off a lot of collectors. Especially since the majority of these that are not in TPG are cleaned. You may never want to sell. But you have to ask yourself, why is everyone else avoiding the coin, or why is the price so 'cheap'?.

Authentic (good!) ... mid AU grade as suggested above with my concurrence.

AU details. It's a decent "collector's" example of the coin, it's not so badly cleaned that it's not collectible. Probably the cleaning dropped it from a nominal MS60 to an AU details. It's what an overzealous injudicious dipping will do, plus anyone notice the yellowish rim toning? Overdipping and the overall gray look of stripped away mint luster. What I find fascinating about this design not only is this a late Charles Barber work, that came during the golden age of St. Gaudens medallic work, but he used the head of this particular Liberty to compete with the master himself in designing a pattern double eagle in 1906. I'm sure Teddy was less than impressed.

*******UPDATE*********
I sent this to ANACS last month, and the results are in:
AU50 Straight Grade.
Am I pleased? Heck yeah! I bought this cheap and raw, and my biggest worry was it would come back as cleaned, so I'm a happy camper.

Good for you obviously ..
Now the bigger question is keep it in the ANACS holder or crack out for the circulated set?
It is not nearly worn enough for a circulated set .... and not MS for a pristine set ... so what are your collecting objectives for this coin?
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Well, as luck would have it, I have another raw Panama-Pacific, also with the FS-501 RPM, that is a 45 (possibly a 50 on a really, really good day), so this one will stay slabbed, and the other one will go in the raw set.
