Hey. I will start off with I'm brand new to all of this. So I'm just learning on how to find legitimate errors in coins and so on any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you. I'm curious about this 1993 penny that I have the words states of on the top of the back of the penny look worn down. Would something like this be an error? Or is it actually just worn down? The rest of the penny is in excellent condition. Thank you!

to CCF. If you crop pics before posting that would help. It looks like a possible Grease Filled Die issue.

Grease Filled Die most likely. Crop your photos.

Could be Struck Through Grease like everyone stated but also an area that tends to get weak from die polishing. Actually common on LMC's.

Etheir Struck Through Grease or an Over Polished Die. Etheir one. Not bad enough to add value since it's very common occurrence on LMC's.
