A picture of the back is needed to guess any value above the $500 face. Since the bill looks to be in pretty good condition, with no apparent folds or stains, it should be worth more than face value. Others can give a value.

Although not rare, it definitely will bring more than face value. The OP's note if sold raw to a dealer might fetch an offer between $600-$700, and if graded, with a *PQ" designation might bring anywhere from $800 and up.

The note appears original, but an in hand examination is required to determine it's grade.

The difference in value between a raw note and a graded note is more than the cost of grading. I would have it graded, then sell it on ebay, you'll get to make the money.

Nice clean notes in slabs fetch more than the same note in raw condition.

Around $650 raw, agree worth having graded.

Is that a purple ink stamp to the right of the bust and a stain to the left?
