As for WDDR-003, I think back to variety lesson 101. Find the variety first, then the markers.
The chips are in similar locations, but seem to show different distinctive features about there formations or developments. Thanks, Doug.

If you are looking for doubled dies then you should be looking for the doubled dies first and then try to match up the die markers. Many of the DE quarters have die chips under the bird's eye and also on the designer's initials.

Yeah it looks like this was like an early stage of that because the chip above thexample eye looks like it is just starting. And the others look smaller in size maybe before it got hub doubled?if that is possible to do?

The doubled portion of the design on a true doubled die is made with the creation of the die. That element is there from the very first coin struck. When you see die chips on similar coins in the same area then there is a weakness in the original design of the series on that design element. The die can not withstand the repeated striking of coins in that area and a portion of the die breaks off.
