I found a video on you tube the other day and the guy doing the video said that the Wide AM on the 1985 penny is the one thats worth money not the Close AM. I always thought that all pennies up to 1993 were wide ams then were changed to the Close AM after 93. Have I been right on this or is there an 85 penny that is like the man said or is he just backwards on what he said cus he showed both pennies in the video the close and the wide. If he is correct on this then I have two of the wide ams.

You sure he didn't say 95? up until 93 all pennies are WAM and 85 suppose to be WAM.
Rest in Peace

There were transitional errors, that in which a one years reverse die was matched with the next years obverse dies, those are the 1992/93 years and the 1998-2000(P mint only) where a proof die is thought to be the culprit there and 1999S proofs where a busniss Close AM was used. None have ever been recorded for 85. Remember, it was youboob.
