I picked this coin up last week along with another that I will post as soon as I get done here. Nick at the shop knows I like nicely toned coins, so he let me have first crack at several Morgans that came in the week before . They were in little envelopes and then the envelopes were in a 2x2 flip, much like the old Kraft envelopes..except they were blue..like this...

The coins that the envelopes contained are really nicely toned, and this one seemed like a good buy for 63 money. The toning on this one (and the other) is pretty light, and depending on which way you turn it, very colorful. The thing that struck me about the toning is that it looked like it was hovering over the coin- I mean this coin practically glows a light iridescent blue/pink/gold just sitting there...I am going to get the rest of the envelopes that these came in when they get taken out for grading, there are about 8 more I think . The pictures do not do this coin justice, but they do show the color fairly accurately...from straight on. They cannot capture, however, the depth of the toning . In-hand the toning gives it a proof-like look on the obv, the light blue "frost" on the portrait is very cool. Nice and clean on her face too...all in all a great coin for the price IMO. All opinions appreciated !

Looks really, really clean for a 63.......the images look more like an ms65.
Nice smooth cheek (it looks almost frosted, which is rare for this date), great strike for an 04-O, and you know I'm gonna' like the color! Sweet!

Exellent example of an O minted coin.Well struck.Toning can sometimes make a coin hard to grade as it can hide some imperfections but this coin looks like a strong MS64 to me.Maybe better.GREAT find.

Thanks for the opinions. The coin is exactly as clean as it looks, there are no marks hiding ...I said I bought it for 63 money...I didn't say it was a 63... I was thinking 64 , and so were they- Sometimes Clyde (Shop Owner) can be very generous ! I thought it had a nice strike, nice toning, nice grade, nice price -What more could you ask for ?!?!?

Way cool coin! It would be nice if you could post a video of this coin, slowly rotating and tilting under the light! Awesome, I'd say high MS 64, posibly 65 if you got a grader that was into toning. Great buy!
