According to mycurrencycollection.com the smallest run of any star notes is the following:

1999 $10 BE-* Run 1b serial numbered BE 00 032 001 #8596; BE 00 035 200 for a total of 3,200 notes.

I have always wanted one of these but can not find any. I was wondering if anyone here has come across one and can post a pic. I just want to know they do exist and it is not a run in which they were printed but then destroyed.

I'm pretty sure none of these notes have been reported.

Series 1999 had several unreported star note runs.

Run #1 BE* and BF* for the Five Dollar denomination (35,200) and Run #1.1 and #1.2 BE* and run #1 BF* for the Ten Dollar denomination.

The lowest (reported) star note runs of recent I actually own are series 2009 $1 run #3 New York B* (32,000) and series 2013 $1 run #1 San Francisco L* (80,000).

Of course, just about every collector has the 2004A $10 Atlanta star GF* (9,600) printed in sheets only and not released into general circulation.

As shown on the forum before, I have a 1929 $10 FRBN Chicago G* with a print run of only 12,000.
