I am considering purchasing this coin. Do you agree with the grade given and what value would you place on it. Also do you see any problems?

I was going to give her an AU50 before I saw the slab label...JA liked it...I don't care for the splotchy toning though.

I agree with 55. Left top wing feather on reverse is the epitome of this technical grade. I like toning if it enhances the design. I don't particularly care for this toning.

When I see tarnish (oops - toning) like this it just makes the coin look dirty to me.

I looked at auction results via the NGC price guide. I agree with AU55. A pretty nice AU55 sold for around $250. Really nice coins with virtually no toning sold for over $400. The toning is keeping the price down on this "CAC" coin. If you like the coin, I'd suggest offering a price more in line with the toning ($300) or less.

Decided to pass. I've found myself thinking about re-sell every time I consider purchasing a coin. Testing the waters here shows me that this would be a hard coin to move if I chose to.
