Looking to get some answers on this coin. I have a feeling its PMD but I just wanted to make sure. Hard to see from the pictures but its one big circle that appears to be multiple lines which are swiping there way around the coin fairly deep destroying the letters on the way as well. Than the other side of the coin is perfectly normal.

Difficult to tell with those photos. Perhaps younger eyes might see something I don't.

It's coin Rolling Machine Damage. Parking meters in NB apparently take these 1 Franc coins, it might be from that.
