I found this 2015 D while searching rolls. overall it is plagued with environmental damage but there is one area that looks quite odd to me. I'm not sure if it's some kind of stain. I'm not looking for any explanation as to what or how it became, just your thoughts. I think it's kind of cool myself.

I agree with your assessment of PMD and that circular spot does look weird. The price is right if you want to keep it or otherwise spend it!

Is the coin bent?
Are the devices on the opposite side flattened?
If so then it is PSD.

The image on the right looks like some devices were pressed into the coin? Perhaps a soft die was used on your coin? (perhaps an epoxy glue was dried onto a coin, then removed, and left an weak raising of devices on the field area. possible the curved line could have been where it was hanging over an edge between two coins?) Removed and pressed onto a coin that left an imprint?

Thank you Coop! I always look forward to your posts and or replies. I agree it could have been any number of things and that is one of many mystery's I/we come across in this hobby that we may never quite know the answers to but that in itself make it all the more interesting and fun!
