Tell me what you think.

Here's what I do know - obverse shows light cleaning and a somewhat light scratch between "E P". Reverse shows no evidence of cleaning, but die polishing is there.

Luster is continuous throughout.

Have at it...

Yep, hairlines are there, weren't careful wiping it down. (Polished?) I am really surprised thet more Doubled dies don't show up with the amount of hubbing the dies went thru! Looks very Clear, strong strike. 63? with the dreaded "Dets"?

There's evidence of rub, especially at the centers, of both obverse and reverse.

But it doesn't really matter as this will details from the obvious cleaning and there is little value difference between an AU details and an Unc. Details.

I'd say Uncirculated details.

For this particular coin, I have no idea. I was actually very disappointed when I received the coin, as it was much worse in hand then the photos showed. It is non-returnable, it was from an auction house. I've bought from them before, and had no issues, but this one I'm not happy with at all, even though the price was good, even in this condition.

As for my plans for the commemorative series, I'm still intending to do a double set - one graded, one raw, with a few caveats. I will not buy a raw CSC that is high value (Hawaiian, Spanish Trail, Gettysburg, etc.). Those will only be slabbed by the top 3, unless I find a stupid cheap raw one, but I don't expect to.

As for what will I do with two sets, I'm not really sure. It's pretty difficult to display a slabbed series of just about anything, so the jury is still out on that. It'll be a nice accomplishment to complete the slabbed series, but then I don't know what I'll do with it ( ebay may be my friend there).

The raw set, which I have decided is going to be completed after the slabbed set, will end up in a Dansco, if they ever have them in stock again. I'm also doing a digital album, which will be printed and framed when done.

This is the digital album up to today. I just revamped it from the one shown in this thread: http://goccf.com/t/297512

Here's the newest version:

At least you have that extra hole at the end to shift everything around!

Next revision.
