IMO they are getting BACK to where they used to be.
They had loosened up too much and are now "restoring order".

My only comment to this is I've seen so many obvious cleaned coins in straight PCGS holders recently, mostly in Seated and Trade dollars but also in other series too. They may be tight on their technical grading with details but they have certainly loosened up regarding cleaned coins. Other grading services may be doing it too but I've witnessed it mostly with PCGS.

Well I use to be a ANA member see on NGC that if you are an ANA member you can send coins in for grading so I joined ANA again guess I will send the 3 Morgans in to be graded just to see what grade they are very clean coins with no marks.

They haven't. Send a submission in and see if they all come back straight graded.

Really if you want to get technical though pretty much every seated and Trade dollar has been cleaned at one point in it's history, only exceptions might be the top MS coins.
