I'm pretty sure this one is going of to PCGS but wanted to get your opinions first. Thanks in advance as always!

Lots of bag abrasion, definitely MS, but due to the multitude of minor scratches of abrasion, I would say MS-62, might make 63. The reverse by itself is straight up MS64
EDIT: noticed some discoloration around some devices. Might also be a victim of slight cleaning/rubbing?

WAY too much "noise" on the cheek. I don't think it would even make MS-62. Probably MS-61 at best.

1896-0 is a "condition rarity" in MS grades. Even if it hits MS60 seems like it's worth slabbing.

The cheek looks like slight circulation rub. AU55 maybe 58.

Evidence of circulation on Curl above Ear, Cheek and Eagle's Chest combined with bag marks. In my opinion AU-50/53 Here are Two different examples of certified 96-O

It's a low ms coin. As stated the 96 O is a tough date to find in mint state. Definitely worth getting graded imo

It's worth the price of grading to have it done, the 1896 is scarce in any UNC grade. Go online and check the population reports from the grading firms.

I was thinking low MS myself but wasn't sure if I was looking at it through rose colored glasses! 62 was my original thought and the reverse looks even better in hand, the overall strike is great for an "O" minted coin.

AU55. There is no way this slides in to a MS grade. Still a very valuable and collectible coin in this grade, however, and would sell nicely.

There's no way this slides into MS? The reverse says otherwise. The obverse is rittled with bag abrasion sure, and it's most certainly been rubbed but I still think MS is not out of the question. I think I'll retract my MS-62 but will still put it at MS-60.5
