This coin was struck with a very worn die heading towards it's end of life and usefulness. It's in a VLDS (Very Late Die State). That's why the letters are stretched. On the 5 of 1955, that's Die Deterioration Doubling.

Your welcome. No premium for this since it's normal for this to happen a lot as it's normal die wear. But since it is a Wheat cent, it's worth a slight premium. Stay here and you'll learn a lot of new information. Even though I've been doing this for awhile, I still learn something new everyday.

That slightly raised ridge on the coins surface just inside the rim going around the cent and under the letters is another tell tale sign of a die that is worn. Your 1st,3rd,& 4rth pictures show it the best.
