Would like the experts opinion on the pic below. In the VAM world, is what's shown on the MM considered an RPM, the D and O machine damage/doubling, or is it called something else? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

Strike doubling. As it's step/shelf like in appearance. Flat and localized, i.e. No other lettering is affected. The 1884-O has NUMEROUS VAMs and MM varieties though. Check the rest of the coin while using comparisons over at VAMworld.
