Interesting note.

I thought binary meant 1's and 0's ......

Maybe it's an ebay binary.
Rest in Peace

In the tech world, binary means 1's and 0's, but in PM it seems to mean a note with only two different digits.

There are umpty thousands of such "binary" notes in circulation, so it's a spender for my money.

According to Webster's, the word binary refers to, among other definitions, something consisting of only "two things or parts..". So, this usage seems correct.

I watched some more of HiddenTreasureHunter video's when you mentioned his name. RIP, but remember that he lives on with his video's. He helped me after he lost his battle with cancer, just like he has helped/helping others like me just starting out in the hobby for the past few years.
