This is a recent purchase and the listing mentioned both errors. It is obvious to me that whatever happened occurred pre-strike. It is not major so it's difficult for me to tell what it should be called. The striations on the reverse look more like a partially split planchet than the lams I've seen. What do you think?

P.S. I didn't weigh it because either way, it should be lighter.

Weakened rim under the bust from the missing metal on the reverse pre-strike. I didn't get a pic of it but the shoulder also shows a little weakness/planchet flaws:

Definitely was a pre-strike Lamination, probably came off during the upsetting process (edge). This would cause a soft strike/split planchet effect. One way to tell if before is look right at the peak of dome, see how separation line between stirations and solid field seem to flow UP and over the dome...this shows the two levels on the planchet blank. Should be slightly underweight.

Thanks everyone!

With having the Best Offer option, I couldn't help myself. I would have still gotten it if in a little worse shape but, it looks pretty good in hand. It may even be FS or close, at least.
