I'll lead off with 64, if for no other reason than this coin does not "pop" in these pics, but a 65 would not surprise.

 tough to say exactly could be a lot of luster still left on that coin you just can't see in a static photo.

Luster does not affect Technical grade, although it is useful in determining circulation rub.
Looks fully 65. Not my favorite even at that high end.

Well I like it even if it doesn't knock your sox off . MS-65. Is that a strike through on reverse at 4:00 ?

T-BOP- It looks more like a die crack to me. It looks more raised than sunken in the coin. For the grade I agree with MS65.

PCGS gave this a MS63. MY first thought when I bought it was MS64, but I don't think there is enough price difference to re-submit it (unless I had a couple other to re-submit as well).
That is a die crack at 4:00, and I am a sucker for die cracks on these old nickels

As mox says, luster does not affect technical (surface) grade, but it plays a huge role in a critical TPG evaluation category - eye appeal. This coin, while quite pristine, seems to lack sparkle - that something "special".
