I'd like to get opinions on the grade of these two coins. I want to put the lower grade of the two up for auction. It should be noted that both have a full LIBERTY and the I of LIBERTY on the lighter coin is more pronounced in one's hand as opposed to looking at it on a digital photo where it has less contrast etc.

I failed to mention that I also need to get some opinions on the authenticity of these coins' mint marks. Please opine on each coin.

The first one looks vg8. The second looks fine details damaged.
I do not think the coins are real. Real ones have the mintmark equidistant from the dot device and the rim. And there is a distinct space between the rim and the mintmark that should show a die crack. The position of the mintmark looks wrong on both coins.

I agree with numismatic student 100%. First is a vg8 maybe details, the second one is fine details (cleaned, damaged, environment damage ) I am no expert on this series so take that into consideration

The first one F-12 , The second one F-15 Details . Not sure if genuine .

VG-08 and F-15 details. Can't see thee first one making fine with so little detail on the head.

10 and 15. The wear patterns on both are consistent with authentic examples. I can't see either of these as counterfeit, and the s's aren't added.

If the "I" is there in the 1st coin it should grade F-12 at least. The other coin is a details coin VF.
