This coin's surfaces have an unnatural uniformity about them. The color and texture do not look normal but it is a high AU piece apparently lacking any luster and void of any contact marks. It does look genuine.

Pics' make the coin look grainy....."is that a word?"....if its AU without a details designation, I think it would have some luster to it?. still a very nice coin

looks 53-55. nice reverse strike. weak obverse strike. looks like it has remaining peripheral luster but not in the center of the coin. other than reverse details, coin lacks pop. flat hair, flat stars and flat cheek.

55, but if this photo is fairly accurate that and the strike are it's best features. It's pretty drab. For 55 money I'd track down one with a bit of luster or color or both.
