Pretty funny read! Glad that she got off scott free, but I don't understand how a coin tossing at the engine would keep the engine safe.. if the coins ended up in the engine, that could possibly destroy the engine, in my minds eye.. But anyways, enjoy!

So it was an act of pure superstition, not logic. I am quite sure that Buddha did not advise his followers to throw coins at jet engines.
