1943-S 1¢ WRPM-013 location seems to differ.

I agree it seems similar to one, but as so often the case I'm unable to verify by a single image alone. Maybe full obverse and reverse images may shed some light. Thanks, Doug.

Looks like the typical broken die between the upper portion of lower serif and center curve, nothing more.

First I've heard of "typical broken die between the upper portion of lower serif and center curve". Will research more on that.

I thought MM might have some similarities to 1943-S 1¢ WRPM-012. Taking images through the holder seems to distort or add some glare. Can't make out any markers.

The reverse seems worn down a bit where marker would be. Also the wear, specks and glare make me wonder if its been re-plated.

Is WRPM-012 the one you say "looks like one of them listed" or something different? Thanks, Doug.

They can develop different color tones.

See below some graded coins including toned examples.

The pitting and wear I think I see maybe on the holder. I'm not the best at judging. Thanks, Doug.

The surface doesn't look natural. It looks re-processed over a few rust spots on the date area. Thus the rough flaky look of the coin. The finish should be dull.

A bad re-plating job can enhance rust, additives to a coin.

Sorry. I'm not seeing a RPM. Contact mark on the center of the mint mark.
