I have found Greaser coins from time to time. I got a 2015P dime in change today that looks a little "greasier" than usual. Is it a keeper or a spender?pics to follow.

Only if a very larger percentage of the devices are missing. 85% or more are great ones to save.

Agree. Must be a massive amount missing to be a saver.

If you get them in change, it makes a nice display collection for nothing.

Here are the pictures. From what I'm reading, this one probably isn't flip-worthy:

More of a VLDS die issue coin. But grease did widen some of the devices. To me? Spendable. To newbies, they are kept.

As usual, you people are the best. Thanks for the info. I will throw it into the "interesting" box.

A personal subjective opinion, depending on the degree of ' Greaser'.

We all have different personal opinions. It's hard to talk about greasers without subjective as well objective opinions. I don't disagree with the other opinions, I'm just adding another opinion for the OP, one that is both subjective and objective.

It should be noted as obvious that, if you can find them "from time to time," they're not that uncommon....

Appreciate all the input. This one stood out because I had a very difficult time seeing the date and could just barely make out the MM under magnification. Most I've seen are just "fuzzy".

Your welcome Bump. As I said, they are very common, so you should be finding quite a few. Another factor that collectors desire is nice condition of the coin. This is true with all Varieties and Errors.
