If that can be traced to that coin (which admittedly the picture isn't the best) from the picture could be a CAC gold candidate that combination could be moon money.

basebal21, at the bottom of the certificate under comments it gives the PCGS certification number which matches the coin.

I stand by my other comment though, combined probably moon money for the grade from that, the holder whether or not a cac and if it did hit gold well bless that seller lol |

That would definitely improve the value of the coin to include that additional certification. The very vast majority of those were tossed out a long time ago.

I knew a dealer that did that sort of thing. Don Romano of Worthy Coin would create a multidimensional grading matrix for surface, eye appeal, strike, and overall grade for every coin he sold through the bid wall. I still have some of these. Maybe I should start typing up some grading certs to send along with coins I sell over ebay so 50 years from now people can post on the hypernet forums. |

It appears the date on the cert is 1/11/88 which is within the time frame for a PCGS 1.2 rattler holder (86-89) Dave700x, twohawks, Cascade and a few others need to see this, I highly recommend cross-posting it to the VAM subforum. That is cool! I have a 1788 Massachusetts copper graded by Walter Breen, and I bought it because of the grading card and photo.
