1999-P-Nickel-With-Half-Copper-Face.-Error?-Help-Please!!

I'm new to coin collecting/hunting....I know 1999 Jefferson nickels is a big error year but I'm really confused about this coin I found....I'm almost 100% sure it's not rust. Nothing rubs off and it's shiny like a penny.

Can somebody please help me!!

Thanks in advance.

Noah

A chemical reaction to some liquid, has just "tarnished, no error just PMD (Damaged) no buckaroos today bucko!

And forgot my manners to the forum! We do like to kid around some...don't take offense, see folks all the time hoping to hit it big...very, very few even have legitimate coin errors.

It's staining or maybe some sort of residue on the coin. No error.

@Dfnkjaws, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with the others that the surface of your nickel has been stained. This is not a mint error and your coin is only worth face value. You can safely spend or save it if you want--it is interesting to look at!
