Hi All, I just bought this cent and have no idea whether it's a large date or small. I'd love to hear your opinions on the variety. I'd also appreciate some input on the grade. I note that the "scratches" you see are on the plastic holder, not the coin itself. Apologies on the glare on the obverse, I was having trouble with my camera.

Your obverse is tough to see with the reflection and the pic of the reverse is a bit too dark to grade. Can you provide better pics? Looks like a nice coin either way.

It's a small date, large leaves, Obverse 3 and worth a nice lump of change. With the photos provided, it's hard to twell the grade but, from the hair and leaf tips alone, I'd say AU.

Looks like a small date to me but, the glare on the obverse side and the dark of the reverse is hard to tell what grade.

I am completely inept when it comes to coin photography. The good news is that the former owner is very good at it (I've left his watermark on the photo to give proper credit). This should help with grading:

Thanks for the better pictures!
I think they confirm what has been said: small date, AU.

As I said above, a SD/LL Obv 3. It has Turner Obv# O2X-S1 and a reverse of Turner R1P-S2. That die pair minted 62.5 % of the '91 SD/LL Obv 3's. I'll give it an AU-50+ based on the wear in the hair, eyebrow and leaf lobe tips. Nice coin.

EF-45 at best IMO, still an extremely nice coin thought :).
