Id say 40 tops if that, hard to see much here. Not much curb appeal. What's the deal here, Wheat - you normally go for the best.

Bought it years ago for like $30 so it was hard to pass up at that price even if it's not my usual.
Rest in Peace

On what? Looks like a dark spot, not a verdigris spot

NICE WOODY!

Too bad for the light verdigris - but I think it could be saved with careful conservation. Active below the E in CENT. There black stain on the right wheat is a sign of past, light corrosion and someone removed.

I would characterize the active corrosion under the E as light. There's also a tiny speck of active in the left wheat stalk.

VF-25 - and a good piece of wood!

On an SVDB the initials are ALWAYS bold and complete.

You're most likely right but, I'll post what I'm seeing. The B looks pretty clear and I see maybe some of the V. There doesn't seem to be much of a rim down there so maybe they were exposed to more wear than normal?

I'm way off on all the others on this piece. I have it at VF30. nope...No VDB there plus the obverse does not match any known die
