Number sequences, stars, extra nice condition maybe. Not sure if any "short term" releases like the Barr notes, that might be, like the $1 1963B series, Barr was only in for three months running for that series

Wait for Frog and SteveinTampa to answer...

Most of those notes are gonna be very common outside of UNC condition. The only thing worth looking for are on those 1950 plain notes. The narrow variety might be worth slightly over face. The narrow 1950 plain notes are identified by backplate numbers 1390-1456. If you have any star notes, they'd have a bit of value over face as well.

No star notes, No sequential notes, No fancy S/N notes (the closest is shown below ... Jumbled Ladder)

If they are all in similar condition to the one you posted, I'd spend.

Individually, not much value. Maybe minor value if sold as a "lot", especially if the note shown is a representation of all of them.

Separate them into two or three lots, and put them on ebay at face value to open the bidding. Add cost of postage and hard mailer. You'll make some money on them.

Sounds like a lot of work for not much return, but good luck if you do!

Thanks for the photo hound.

My opinion hasn't changed after seeing them. It's just I currently don't personally know any collectors looking for notes in their condition. As Captain Obvious would say, You have $400 tied up in them.

For that money you could buy several 65PQ TPG notes from that era with much greater appreciation potential.

@Coinfrog ... I understand your logic but the way that I look at it is that I could spend this $400 at anytime. Also they would be a novel gift to give for Christmas.
