rolls for pennies:

1) try your local bank.. they may have them... even it they're just the annoying flat roll yourself type...

2) check out local liquidators.... I think I bought a box of penny rolls for $3 ... that's like well over 1000 rolls (I'm good now)

3) Check out garage sales or dollar stores... since the penny is no longer used there's probably a lot of surplus

well firstly, I would hate to think that anything was missed, so I personally would check them for anything rare/interesting. if you are going to just get rid of them...two things, coin shops will buy copper ones,(maybe will take the whole lot), I m pretty sure for over face value. they seem to have ways to sell them as scrap copper. 2nd if you just want to take them to the bank, or separate copper from steel/zinc, try TD bank. they have bags that you fill to a line, seal and theres $25. Really it shouldnt take that long to check them 3000 is just $30, so just over a box. I still have 15 or so boxes to go through.

RBC has a plastic bag that you fill up to a red line and it makes 25 dollars when filled to that line. The reason I know I filled a bag last year and the bag is solid It was free to pick up.
