First coin is a 1962 from a B/U roll. Not so nice for such a roll but I doubt it was tampered with so wondering about those scratches. They are incuse.

The second coin (2000-D) is from a regular bank roll so could be anything what has happened to the coin, but still pretty interesting looking and based on the direction of metal movement were made from right to left and not a direct hit from above.

Could feeder fingers or similar do this much damage to a coin?

I've seen these explained as from feeder fingers too. But I've never heard a complete explanation on how some, like these, are so deep.

Feeder finger lines on coins are raised as the fingers cut lines/grooves into the die. Those look just like PMD

Try this
http://goccf.com/t/59170

If you notice the serrations on the bottom of a feeder finger, if these were out of sequence, the multiple scratches could occur

No charge,....this time!

I think it is PSD. The damage is on the rim so it got there after the coin was minted.

Feeder Finger Damage is only on the fields. Not on the devices.
