I've had this one for a while and at first I thought it might be a DDO because of the thickness of the date and liberty. After checking on Wexler's the only thing that is even close is a die clash remnant at the top of the 8th Memorial bay which is where I'm stuck. I cant see any markers, die scratches, gouges, or the extra eyelid. so I thought if the only match is on the reverse, how can it be a DDO? so to ease my mind I would like some advice please. is it possible to have only one known marker?
thoughts on grade also, if you don't mind
thank you!

Note the die flow on the fields. Note the device on the date that they are starting to break down from die wear. This is a multi hubbed die. The devices wear differently than the Die Deterioration we see on the single squeeze dies. On the Die Deterioration single squeeze dies the distortion is is beyond the device:

To the right on the right side, to the left on the left side. (in the direction of the closest rim)
On the Multi hubbed examples the distortion is on edge of the devices in the same direction. I call these die wear because they look different.

Your coin is showing the same thing on 'L' on LIBERTY as well. So what you are seeing on the '2' is die wear. On hub doubling you will see an enlarging and spread on the date digits:

Do see how they are enlarged by the hub doubling. There were several for this year. So many it will take a long time to list them.
