Now that is quite the nickel. Looks like everything you describe. I don't know what that large area is surrounding that "strike through" that you might be saying is "grease" but this is an extraordinary find. You are a persistent searcher. I remember when you started out here. Your experience now is paying off and you have learned quite a bit. Congrats! You could nickname it "Blow it out your ear nickel!"  |

With the missing area on the coin, the weight is still normal. The metal was spread around, but all the weight is there.

Wow, what a amazing error coin combination! I have never seen one so messed up like this before. Make sure to put this coin into a 2X2 coin flip for protection. It will have a nice premium because of the 90 degree die rotation and the Struck through. Congratulations on your find!  Errers and Varietys.
