I was so very happy to find this one! I do believe this is a major strike through,a 90 degree rotated die,a die chip, and maybe some grease. I would really like your thoughts on this one. Thanks in advance!

Now that is quite the nickel. Looks like everything you describe. I don't know what that large area is surrounding that "strike through" that you might be saying is "grease" but this is an extraordinary find. You are a persistent searcher. I remember when you started out here. Your experience now is paying off and you have learned quite a bit. Congrats!

You could nickname it "Blow it out your ear nickel!"

It is up to you, but in my opinion it is not a $200 coin to justify the expense!

Nice one Newbie!
I agree with what TNG said about you. You called it yourself, keep that up and you may have to change your name to Oldbie.

With the missing area on the coin, the weight is still normal. The metal was spread around, but all the weight is there.

Wow, what a amazing error coin combination! I have never seen one so messed up like this before. Make sure to put this coin into a 2X2 coin flip for protection. It will have a nice premium because of the 90 degree die rotation and the Struck through. Congratulations on your find!
