I found this CRH through a circulated bankroll from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. Yes, it's tiny, but it still a Cud because it involves the rim. This is not PMD as it's raised and not pushed in on the edge of the coin. I looked on the side and it's not pushed in metal and I also looked flat at the surface and it's raised. The smallest Cud I've ever found coin roll hunting. This made me laugh and it will probably make you laugh too! Errers and Varietys.

It's not the size of the Cud...

Even if it's small, I'm still keeping it. Cuds-on-coins.com list some of the smallest Cuds for 1983. Keep scrolling down and you will find Cuds that are very small in size that barely go in the fields. http://cuds-on-coins.com/Lincoln-cent-cuds-1983-2/ It's still funny to find something this small.

Thank you coinlover1899! It's the funniest thing I've seen on a coin.

Can we get a closeup? Almost looks like a bent fin, but is situated as a Cud...?

Crazyb0, this is the best I can get because I have a cheap phone and it's the only camera I own. Here are more pictures of it. I took a picture of the rim and surface to prove it's not PMD. What you see Crazyb0 is actually a Die Ring next to the Cud do to being in a VLDS. The die was worn. Hopefully this will do it.

Thank you Buddy! When I coin roll hunt, I always look up close at the coins with a bright light. It's funny to find a Cud that small. It's like the size of a Pea.

Thanks David. I was trying to see the edge as it attached (well not technically?)to the field by the letter. Therer should be no "seam" becuz of die break. Think I see well enough now.

E&V, with all the error searching you do I'm surprised you haven't picked up a scope by now. I think it would really help your searching

You're welcome. Kinda weird to see one this small. A lot of people would've probably miss this one. Bump111, since you said that, I am going to buy one on Amazon after I'm done creating my account.

Hopefully. I will start using it once it comes in the mail and I'll replace my phone camera with this. :)

Nice little baby Cud. I may be seeing things but, is the reverse rim flattened a bit under the N in ONE? If it is and that corresponds to the Cud on the obverse, that's further proof it's the real deal. I don't know if that effect will be produced or not on such a small example.
