I have had my Lincoln Cent and Jefferson nickel albums since I was a kid in the 1950s. They were put aside for years while life happened.

Wheat pennies and silver War Nickels were picked out , but most coins were spent indiscriminately.
Now I have the time to resume my collection, and you folks got me inspecting everything.

While looking at nickels for any DD errors listed by Wexler(?)I found none but I did harvest an interesting die crack example, I believe.

From the left side, inboard of the window, it passes wsw diagonally across the doorway, all the way to the left rim.

Thank you all for the kind welcomes.

The main thing that rejuvenated my coin interest was finding that I had a "wounded eagle" Sac dollar among the pile accumulated when using the Philly bridge transit kiosks. That was exciting to me.

Being here on the East Coast it takes forever for Denver mint varieties to get here in normal
circulation so those are all the empty spaces in my albums. But the fun is in the hunt.

Glad you're here with us. That is a very prominent crack on your nickel!
