I'm learning, but getting frustrated...

It's hard to understand what all certain error types could look like. Is this dime a Broadstrike? Doubling? Partial Collar? Some Combination?

Can anyone enlighten me?
Thank you!

to CCF. If the reverse is centered it is a MAD.

Interesting! Is reverse normal or image available? Is the edge reeding normal? Needed to help narrow things down. False (double) rims can be caused by a few different things. Thanks, Doug.

So sorry for the delay--somehow I missed notification of your replies! I'm not sure I'd be able to tell something weird in the 'reeding' if it was in front of me. It's in a Mylar flip, but the side edge looks pretty normal to me. The multi-edge effect does appear on the reverse side at the same point as shown on the coin's obverse side (as in, if a hole were punched through the coin it'd hit both affected areas). My attempt at a picture of the revers failed. Is the MAD then, as it seems to me?

If the edge reeding is normal it is a mis-aligned die coin with both sides misaligned. If the reeding is missing it is probably an uncentered broadstrike.

It is a weak strike. Common for that year.
