AvA, Again welcome back> I will attempt to show you exactly what is going on on your coin. It is a GREAT example of a VLDS coin, meaning VERY Late Die State, end of it's lifetime die state. On your pix I have marked certain areas in color-coded markings. First is the RED arrows showing a Tilted die strike, making that "second rim". When dies age, metal flows outwards causing all elements to stretch in that direction. Metal will begin to deteriorate, this in late stages is called "die Attrition". Sometimes the stretching pulls the devices apart (YELLOW) or the areas on the edges of the devices are worn away. Remember the die image is reversed, those letters go in, so the die face around them is flat. Polishing to prolong life will wear those edges, and the diamond polishing paste and solvents "fill" these cavities causing a "
Struck Through Grease" error. There may be some MD on GOD as circled in YELLOW but this seems more of an attrition problem than strike movement. The BLUE circles show how the devices stretch towards the rim.
You have a variety of things going on, none is true Hub Doubling, just machining errors of a very over used die.
I forgot to mention the T of liberty, took a 45 degree CCW hitfrom just under the right side as it connects to the horizontal bar up and to the left actually forcing metal downeards to the left.
