I purchased this 1956D LWC on line for $.99.


In hand this coin is beautiful. The pics don't give it the justice it deserves

it has a nice die chip (or two) below the upper horizontal bar of the E and above the lower horizontal bar. thank you for looking

The coin was struck from a die made with a chipped hub on the '6' on the date. Note the flat area at the bottom of the '6'. Does look like a doubled die or RPM. Just an BU coin. It has a few carbon spots on the obverse near the date area.

Several of the dies were struck with this hub. Some are RPMs and most are not.
