XF details. Not a fan of the numerous field scratches on both sides but doesn't look cleaned to me because the scratches seem to stop at the devices. The obverse seems stained.

I'm at XFish on it. The golden toning visible is clearly a second, more recent toning process besides the one which resulted in the much darker color elsewhere on the coin; I don't know how a TPG would adjudicate it. By the time the toning progression has reached "terminal" as it has on the periphery, there would be no possibility of the far earlier "golden" color on the coin, to my mind.

Straight grade XF-45. The vast majority of these have been cleaned in the past (some harshly) but this one looks nice and if cleaned has re-toned and acquired a pleasant patina.

EF-45, perhaps AU-50, but this does not appeal to me.

I'm in at AU55 or so ... old cleaning but retoned. Suspect this is in a straight grade TPG holder. David

 45, almost certainly cleaned but it would straight grade at PCGS. Less chance of a straight grade from recent NGC grading, which has been tougher on these the last couple of years. If the price was reasonable I would consider buying this one.

This one is graded au-53 by PCGS. This is a really tough year fellas. The high mintage numbers are misleading.

I think the grade is reasonable. The detail is AU+ and the hairline scratches seem randomly oriented, not the result of an abrasive cleaning. An old dip plus retone seems likely as noted but overall appeal is positive. Reverse strike is terrific! I take it the OP is happy with this coin. I would be, too!
