I have a 1962 D Nickle with a possible error (possible misprint I'm the rim). Could you please give me an idea is this is an error coin and if so what is it's possible value?

Like you other post, just looks like damage. And by the way, the spelling for that coin is nickel not nickle.

@VP, I agree with @fuzzy that it looks like the rim of your coin has taken a couple hits after it left the mint. There is no value beyond 5 cents so this coin can be safely spent.

I greatly appreciate everyone's very helpful and insightful feedback. I am new to all of this and have little knowledge of errors. I began checking all loose change three montjs ago and my lack of experience has cause me to become unnecessarily excitable over findings that proove to be worth nothing more than face value, hiwever, I still enjoy searching for those rare finds and with trial and error I amlearning more and more about the Coin World. Thank you for participating and I appreciate the time each of you took to respond. I apologize for my crude spelling...when I realized the mistake I was truly shocked I had repeatedly mispelled such a common word, I am afraid late nights and long hours got the best of me and my husband will surely get a good laugh out of this one...thank you again!
