1971 S Ike Dollar Proof Possible Type 1?

3series84 Valued Member United States 65 Posts	Posted 11/26/2017 4:50 pm So I was going through my Ike dollars, and came across a new type 1 I didn't know about for the silver 1971 S proofs. I have looked at this in so many different ways, and I think (though extremely unlikely) that this could be a possible type 1. I do not have doubling on the Obverse but there is doubling on the reverse most noticeably in the "E". I will try and get some pictures of that posted soon. Report this Post to the Staff

It is the normal Type 2 Proof Reverse for 1971. Here are pics from the PCGS site showing the Type 1 Reverse.
