Standfast - there's so many ways to collect them, by topic, state or city, occupation, events. I've picked up a few for my 1946 birth year collection.

999 VERY nice 1939 NYWF Encased Cent.
Here's some fascinating wiki info on that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stork_Club
There's plenty of stuff out there to hunt down! I emphasize to hunt.

Lots of good info there TNG. I looked at ebay and found quite a selection of STORK CLUB ENCASED CENTS available:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...&_sacat=7109

A couple out of my price comfort zone for such, but then I can be a piker

I do have one more in my "Magpie Book." will post a pic when yard duty is finished for the day.

Thank you 999fine. I appreciate the ideas.

I like the idea of going after my birth year (1977) for now, and I'll see where it leads me.

From my Franklin Mint Hoarde Purchase:

MILWAUKEE WORLD FESTIVAL, A SALUTE TO CANADA, 1969

Bronze proof, 1.5 inch diameter, 1600 minted, nearly perfect mirror-finish fields.

Nothing great, but an addition to my Fairs & Exhibitions collection

Your images are upside down. Please preview your post/pictures to be sure the images are rotated correctly.

I use an iPad Air 2 with Safari, and they appear with correct orientation when I view this thread. Are the words engraved into the base upside down when you view the photos ?

When I look at the images, both are rotated 180 degrees.

Still inverted.

I have seen Apple play by different rules regarding landscape versus portrait, but this is really weird!

Can we please kill the bad images? And I've missed the connection to medals and tokens.
