Looks great.

I understand the "Presidential Silver Medals" series has started fairly recently (2018).
But, wouldn't it be cool to collect presidential medals from when the president was actually inaugurated? Starting with Washington, that means obtaining a medal with his portrait from 1789. Then John Adams in 1797, Thomas Jefferson in 1801, etc.

I would guess that Rolla Hisillo is the name of the receiver

I'm afraid it wouldn't get along very well with my budget.

By accident came across this fun but beautiful medal from my home town Utrecht (of which I collect medals, featuring its icon Dom Tower). The caption reads: "Royal Dutch Society of Ornithophilia".

Great medal, NumisEd!

Just one question, though: If ornithophilia is "love of birds," why is there rabbit on the medal?

Could be there to represent sustenance for a passing hawks, I suppose.

I just picked this up. There have been quite a few different medals issued that have Toronto City Hall on them. I've been into city hall a number of times over the years, but never received a medal for visiting. Perhaps this is before my time when the building was still new in the 1960's.

The medal measures around 39mm. I'm not sure what it is made out of. It's not magnetic.
