Your coin looks like MD to me.

It appears that Your coin has MD (machine damage). When striking the coin, the die jiggels a little, creating the shelf like,or,stair-step next to the letter. This reduces the size of the letter itself.MD is made at the time of striking.
A "doubled die" is made when they make the die for striking the coin.Which enlarges the letters/numbers.
There will be others along that can explain it better.
Keep looking and You'll find one eventually.

The area you are looking at on your coin, note that is is flat. If it were a doubled die, it would be rounded and enlarging the devices. A flatten area on a coin (like MD) will only show one color. If it were a doubled die, then it would be raised and show the contour of light to dark.

Note on the 'E' on WE on this image. The spread is to the south so you see the devices spread in that direction. But note of the left side of the 'E'. Note the flattened area on that side. That is Machine Doubling. The machine altered that part of the device. So even a doubled die can have MD. Note on the left one color as it is flattened, while on the other part of the devices, they are enlarged and the color varies as the contour is raised from the devices like a doubled die would create on a coin. Note again on you coin, it shows the single, flattened look on the devices you are looking at.
