As you may or may not know, ebay has recently added some new enhancements for sellers. One of which was something I suggested to them almost a year ago so that "lowball" buyers would be eliminated. Offering an item for $5.99 for example, and getting offers for $1.50 got really old for me. And I vented more than once about this on this forum. With the new version, you can now set a priceline so that ebay will automatically reject offers at or below that price. For example, I'm offering an 1899 Quarter for $7.49. Under the old system, someone could've offered me $1 or some other ridiculous amount. Now, I can set my low offer price at 75% as per my standard terms and conditions ($5.62 in this case). Any offer of $5.62 or more will be relayed to me in a message, any offer of below $5.62 will be automatically rejected. Needless to say, this will save me a lot of time and effort. That's not a new feature, it has been offered for quite some time?

Yeah, I've been using that feature for at least a few years it seems.

Until now, I've never had that ability. They had a feature, but it didn't suit my needs.

That system has been used for best offer sales since 2009. The only reason I remember that date was that I had to change a big batch of BO to take advantage of that feature. It was the only time I ever used anything other than straight auction.
For the 8 items that didn't sell with BO I relisted at .99 cents with free postage and no reserve, which is what I always used.
All 8 sold and 5 of them sold for higher prices than what my previous listings had them at.
One I still remember was a shooting trophy. I'd listed it for $100 or best offer. It sold for $288.

Nothing new about it. My only problem is that randomly, on certain items my BIN's will revert to a OBO too. Seems ebay if item don't receive a set number of views within a month, this happens. It is random, sometimes it do, sometimes it don't. I'll check my listings every few days and now and again got OBO on a few. I made no changes, no edits, just happens. Gotta be ebay or their software.

Regardless of whether it's new or not, it's always good to find a way to make the transaction better for you.

Hardly new . Didn't realize you were that connected with Mark Flaa at ebay. Been using it for a couple of years myself.

Been around for many years. I used it a decade ago when I started selling on ebay. Good info for those who don't know about though.

I have heard of the auto-reject below a certain amount, but I did not know about "accept offers of at least".
