Any chance you can weigh this coin? Some of the soft details at the field convergence looks a bit spooky.

Hmmm, hope it's real but it has that suspicious "Chinese" toning. The 9 and the 6 in the date look a bit off too.

The flat areas where there is no part of the design or lettering.

My initial thought is this coin is genuine and AU-53. Nice full strike on the thumb. Due to the dark tone, it may have been cleaned in the past. I sure hope it's not a Chinese fake.

Light by a half gram but very little visible circulation wear. I would suspect that this is not a genuine coin, and consider it to be of questionable authenticity. The rough pitting in the center of the obverse is somewhat diagnostic.
