My APMEX adventure, I called upon receiving the coin Friday and was told " they would refer My request to the proper dept " , they will get back to You via e-mail, with-in 24-48 hours. I left a message Friday. Being they are not open over the week-end, I re-phoned This morning being ( I received no email ),
Was told they would get the RMA out Today or Tomorrow!! I Asked to speak to a rep in the returns dept, asked for the RMA, They emailed it right away. One would think My original call, being they self proclaim they are " the largest selection of coins online", also " the fastest shipping in the industry ", would of been handled, without My asking, better or sent directly over to the "proper dept ". Why I did not get the RMA on My first call, Friday? I told the rep the coin I received had a gouge on the reverse. They responded that the shipping dept, His supv, and Quality Control will look at the returned coin. I asked Him WHY the same people did not look at the coin BEFORE it was sent out! Also for them to Please have the same people look at the exchange coin going to Me also Please. I explained My frustrations and that I saw their advertisement on one of the " coin collecting " forums I belong to and was surprised the coin went out looking as it did, in the first place! I have never purchased from these people before and do NOT appreciate their sending out a coin, to a nobody for that matter, I understand things happen, I expected more from " the largest on line silver and gold coin dealer " To Me, This is a serious problem.... Not everything is as expected, especially when it comes to gold and silver coins...........
