This 1814 large cent caught my attention earlier today but I had some doubts which prevented my bid. From the pictures it looks like a poor strike but minimal wear and smooth surfaces. The color seems a bit off though, maybe dipped a while ago.

What are your thoughts on this coin regarding the details grade, planchet quality, color originality, etc?

This looks like it falls in the VG range. The confusing thing to me is that is has a lot of meat left to only be a VG. Seems like a nice coin (the 1814).

The 1814 is nice, I like the 96 S-91 better. The 98 could have been nice but it's bent. The other three are nothing much.

Agree, those two are by far the best.

They were sold at a reasonable price. I like those two as well.
