I have two coins that I need help with. I'm not even sure which is obv/rev or if I have them upside down, etc. Thanks as always for the help!

Coin 1 appears to be aluminum. Smaller diameter than a U.S. Dime.

For the date on the Taiwanese coin, I am reading the year as 87, which would be around 1998 in the Gregorian calendar.
